Created through The Long Walk School Programs, the 2025 Dreamtime Guernsey symbolises unity between people, animals, and the land. Designed by Year 8 students Lucas Waddleton and Lawson Richards, the artwork brings Indigenous and non-Indigenous voices together in celebration.?
The gum tree represents a family tree, with circle symbolising different groups coming together at a shared gathering place. Bird footprints weave through the design, reflecting the presence of all works of life.??
