Created through The Long Walk School Programs, the 2025 Dreamtime Guernsey symbolises unity between people, animals, and the land. Designed by Year 8 students Lucas Waddleton and Lawson Richards, the artwork brings Indigenous and non-Indigenous voices together in celebration.
The gum tree represents a family tree, with circle symbolising different groups coming together at a shared gathering place. Bird footprints weave through the design, reflecting the presence of all works of life.?
Rooted in Wurundjeri Country, this guernsey honours connection, culture, and the spirit of coming together as One Mob.
